About the role

Join the Poolsifi team as an Administrative and Software Developer Intern, where you will gain valuable experience in both administrative duties and project development. This role is split between supporting administrative functions and assisting in the development of our own proprietary financial analysis platform. This position is ideal for a highly organized and motivated student passionate about financial algorithms, software development, and administrative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in Software Development:

Weekly Meetings: Attend and contribute to weekly project meetings, working alongside other members of our team to ensure all tasks are on track. During these meetings you will be responsible for taking notes, creating action items, contributing your own ideas and working to keep the project on track.
Stakeholder Meetings: Participate in stakeholder meetings, capturing key points and actionable items. These meetings are intended to investigate different aspects of the business and will require high level thought to map out business flows and understand current procedures.
Timeline Management: Help manage project timelines; scheduling and coordinating stakeholder meetings for the team.
Requirements Documentation: Assist in writing requirements documents based on user flows, ensuring all project specifications are clearly documented. These documents will require a balanced communication style that can describe user stories in a way that programmers can understand and turn into actionable results.

Term Project

Database creation and AI chatbot integration. Throughout this term this intern will work on building a comprehensive database that combines data from multiple sources. Once complete, this database will be linked to Google Conversation AI chatbot technology that we can use to automate manual tasks and replace front-end customer experiences with AI automation.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree at a local university.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with software development tools and techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Interest in healthcare and teletherapy.
Experience in project management and coordination between different stakeholders.
