About the role

We are currently seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to work in our Treasury department. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong analytical, communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with maintaining ARC’s financial model, creating financial forecasts, conducting corporate financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities will include:

Create weekly forecast tables and analysis for the weekly management meeting
Prepare various financial forecasts for budgets, long-term plans, and analyses that support corporate financial decisions
Assist with maintaining and updating the corporate financial model
Conduct corporate benchmarking and peer analysis
Assist with preparing information for various presentations to the Board, rating agencies, and banks
Prepare debt covenant calculations and related documentation
Prepare and review information as required for financial reporting
Assist with fundamental research
Assist with the preparation and review of counterparty credit analysis and the establishment of credit limits
Lead or assist other finance related projects as required

What You Will Bring To Poolsifi

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience. Prior experience in investment banking or capital markets is a definite asset but not critical. The successful candidate must be able to work independently within a team environment and possess the following key attributes:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
CFA designation or currently pursuing CFA would be desirable
Prior corporate banking, investment banking, or equity research experience is a definite asset
Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, conducting research, and financial analysis
Confident with Excel combined with proven analytical and quantitative skills
Strong work ethic and ability to work within tight deadlines
